Principal's Weekly Update (29 September 2023)

CCAs Begin

I am delighted that our CCAs are now up and running. As you will know, we had a challenging start on Monday afternoon with the thunderstorm, so we had to hold students back until they were safe to leave. So from Tuesday this week onwards, most of our students have now joined at least one CCA activity across the week, including Saturdays. We have offered over 160 different activities covering creativity, activity, and service from F3 to Year 13, running before school, lunchtimes, after school, and on Saturdays with our teachers, TAs, and external coaches. We hope your children have a great time learning new skills. We will share more details of their progress as their term goes on.

Nord Anglia Education Senior Leadership Conference in Switzerland

Last weekend, I was privileged to join my fellow principals across our NAE family of 85 schools from 33 countries, along with our regional and central team, to collaborate and share together as we reflected on and considered the needs of education and schools over the coming years. We had various leading experts in their fields join us to offer key note speeches and facilitate various workshops. We focused on topics such as wellbeing, professional learning, and the role of artificial intelligence in education. An outstanding and truly professional family of schools offering a world-leading education to students around the world. A wonderful time was had by all.
