Dear Parents,
What a fantastic week this has been! As we get ready for the next school year, our primary students and parents have been getting acquainted with next year’s team, classrooms, and expectations. We know change can be difficult, and our transition activities are just one of the ways we acknowledge our care for our community’s wellbeing.
Last night we hosted BIS Hanoi’s first-ever sports banquet! I loved the atmosphere in the room and the sense of camaraderie and appreciation for teammates and coaches alike. There is no question about the benefits sports provide to our children. From boosting self-esteem to developing problem-solving and communication skills, many athletes do better academically too. This is why at BIS Hanoi we encourage participation in athletics and are committed to growing our sports program. For example, next year our PE team will be increased by an extra teacher.
The last week of this school year promises to be emotionally packed. Our students will be bidding farewell to their teachers and sometimes their friends. This is also the time to reflect on how much our children have changed and matured throughout the year. One thing is clear: BIS Hanoi is and will remain your constant partner in your child’s education.
