Families, friends, teachers, and classmates gathered at the ceremony to celebrate the graduating seniors and wish them well in their next chapter in life.
Mr Rob Airdrie, Head of Sixth Form, opened the ceremony with words of welcome, followed by inspiring speeches from our Principal, Mr Richard Vaughan, our Head of Secondary, Mr Chris Newman, and our honoured guests, Mr Anthony Rowlands (Founding Principal and currently the Principal of BIS HCMC) and Mr Tran Quoc Hung, our alumni from the Class of 2016.
On celebrating the graduation of our students, Mr. Vaughan expressed his pride in the Class of 2023's accomplishments over the last two years.
"I want to say thank you to your contribution to our school, thank you for your leadership in our student community, thank you for being you. Congratulations on your graduation 2023, and I wish you all the very best for your future"
The students then walked onto the stage, received their diplomas, and finally, tossed their graduation caps into the air as they embark on a new chapter after their BIS journey. Bac Dung, the class valedictorian, delivered an emotional speech at the end of the ceremony, thanking all of his teachers and peers for their support throughout his time at BIS. Parents and teachers beamed with pride as the Year 13s set out to accomplish their goals and dreams after graduation.
Once again, huge congratulations to our Class of 2023. May your graduation open new doors of opportunities, and may the memories of BIS forever inspire you to achieve your dreams and reach your fullest potential.
