While exams occur, our enrichment and activities continue in earnest. Block 3 has begun smoothly, and many students are involved in exciting clubs that will aid their learning and development. In Term 3, there are a number of sporting fixtures where BIS students play against partner schools in Hanoi. It is great to see and hear lots of support happening around the school. This week we also had our first Sports Day in many years, where Years 7 to 9 students were involved in games and sports out on the field on Thursday. Great fun was had by all. I really enjoyed the tug-of-war competition at the end of the day between the Houses and I know the students and teachers did too.
We have a short break over the coming weekend. On Friday, the 28th, teachers will engage in a professional learning day while students enjoy a mid-term day off. We then have a public holiday next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We look forward to seeing students back on Thursday, May 4th.
