The day’s celebration will begin with student performances in the Auditorium, at 11:50am.
There will be a variety of food outlets available outside for families to enjoy (food trucks, Emirati food stands, barbecue, ice cream) and families are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch if they prefer, too (no nuts or pork please).
We advise to send your child to school with some spending money on the day so they can buy some food and participate in some of the paid activities, ranging between 5AED – 20AED each. On the day, students are encouraged to come to school in National dress or the colours of the UAE flag.
Please note that there will be no CCAs running in the afternoon. We understand that parents attending the celebrations may wish to take their child home with them early. Students without a parent present will not be able to leave early. Primary parents unable to attend, should collect their child from their classrooms at 3pm. The bus service will run as normal.
Primary parents must complete this form for each Primary child by Wednesday, 22nd November as part of our Safeguarding procedures for the day.
Parents of Secondary students that use the school bus, must complete this form by Wednesday, 22nd November, so that we know your child’s intentions.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 29th!
Kind regards,
The British International School Abu Dhabi
