New School Dining Menu
Our catering team has been hard at work, alongside students' and ADEK's guidance, to create a new and improved dining menu. We understand the importance of providing nutritious and delicious meals to support your child's well-being and development. Through menu samplings and collaborative efforts, we have introduced a variety of tasty, balanced, and nutritionally rich options that cater to a diverse range of dietary preferences.
Our new menu emphasises fresh, locally sourced ingredients, reduced processed foods, and healthier cooking methods, all while maintaining the flavours that our students love. We believe that a well-balanced diet is essential for academic success, and this menu update is a significant step towards achieving that goal.
More Space for Students to Eat and Socialise
In addition to revamping our menu, we have expanded and revitalised our dining facilities to provide students with more comfortable and spacious areas to enjoy their meals. We recognise that mealtime is not only about sustenance, but also an opportunity for students to socialise, relax, and recharge. Our newly designed dining spaces aim to enhance the overall experience, significantly reducing queue times and encouraging a positive atmosphere where students can connect and make friends.
Healthy Life Choices - Vaping
We understand that supporting students to make safe and healthy life choices is vital to ensuring your child's physical and social well-being while at school. We are committed to fostering a positive and healthy environment and although incidents of vaping in school are rare, we have recently installed the latest models of E-Vape Detectors in student toilets as part of our drive and commitment to student wellbeing. We will continue to use the curriculum and our relationship with you as parents to ensure that students do not bring vapes into school, and that they are aware of the serious health implications. By working together, I am confident that we can support students make good choices.
We appreciate your continued support, and we are always open to your feedback and suggestions. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
Kind regards,
Aine McGlue
