Message from the Associate Principal

Kindness, as simple as a smile or a helping hand, has the power to transform someone's day. It's an investment in happiness, and the dividends it pays are immeasurable. In the hustle of our daily lives, let’s take a moment to breathe, to pause, and to be kind. Let’s extend a gesture of warmth to others, for you never know the weight a smile might lift or the solace a kind word can bring.

Empathy, the ability to understand and share the feelings of another, is a precious gift. It allows us to walk in someone else’s shoes, to see the world through their eyes. In practicing empathy, we foster connections that bridge gaps and dissolve differences. Let us listen, truly listen, to one another’s stories, for in understanding each other’s narratives, we strengthen the bonds of our community.

Compassion, the cornerstone of a caring society, moves us to action. It is more than a feeling; it is an impulse to make the world a better place. Let’s translate our empathy into deeds, reaching out to those in need, supporting each other through challenges, and celebrating each other’s triumphs.

On that note I am delighted to share that our Community Group is hosting a charitable event for Pinktober on October 31st. This event not only exemplifies their dedication but also highlights the power of collective kindness. Through their efforts, they are spreading awareness and support for a cause that touches many lives. I extend my deepest gratitude to them for their work and encourage each member of our community to support this event actively; your participation will echo our shared commitment to compassion and understanding.

Additionally, I am thrilled to introduce our School Advisory Board, a group of individuals who have selflessly dedicated themselves to our school's growth and development. They embody the spirit of cooperation, kindness, and positivity, shaping our school's future with their experience and dedication. Our school Advisory Board members are:

As we face the challenges of our times, it is heart-warming to witness the unwavering spirit of cooperation and care that defines us. These times demand our greatest strength and resilience and the values we hold dear come to the forefront, guiding us through the storm. In our global community, let us be the lighthouses that guide each other home. 

Let’s foster a culture of caring, where we look out for one another, where we uplift and inspire, and where positivity is our language.  I encourage each of you, our dear BIS Abu Dhabi family, to be mindful of your words and actions. Let’s be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people. Together, we can create ripples of kindness that have the power to transform not just our community, but the world.
