On Thursday, 16th March, the whole of Year 2 visited the Zoo as an exciting way to finish off their Term 2 topic “Into the Wild”.
Over the term, the children have been learning all about the wildlife of Africa – conducting research projects and writing fictional stories about them. As the children were so engaged with the topic, the teachers thought it would be fantastic for them to see some of the animals up close!
The staff there were incredibly helpful and organised, making our trip run smoothly. And how amazing is this photo of Madhu the girl and Madhu the elephant? Both absolutely adorable!
