The Village Middle School Math and Science Team won 7th place sweepstakes at the TMSCA State Meet in San Antonio on April 22nd. Our team of 30 students competed with a total of 83 schools in the 6A division with over 500 students.
Our middle school team competed with some of the largest and most competitive schools in the state. In Village's 22 years of competing at the state level, it has always been in the top seven or higher.

Summer learning loss, also known as the "summer slide," refers to the decline in academic and social skills that can occur when children are not engaged in educational activities during the summer months. Dana Sheridan, LPC, Lower School Counselor at The Village School, sheds light on this issue and offers practical solutions for parents to keep their children's minds active during the long summer break.
