The Pre-Medical Science Diploma program is curated for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. In collaboration with our Science department and industry professionals, the Pre-Medical Science Diploma is a career specific program where enrolled students will take a variety of courses directly related to medical science. In addition to foundational and rigorous coursework, students will be immersed in experiential learning through partnerships with industry leading healthcare organizations.
Students pursuing the Pre-Medical Science Diploma program must take IB courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology.
During 9th or 10th grade, students who intend to pursue the Pre-Medical Science Diploma must take the year-long Health Science course. This course prepares students to take the higher-level skills-based health science courses in 11th and 12th grade.
