TRASHION – Recyclable materials

All students will participate in this powerful project which aims to develop student understanding on the wide-scale impact that fast fashion has on our environment. Through interactive workshops, participants will learn about sustainable fashion alternatives and design and produce an exciting original item made from existing textiles.

Following this, students will have a choice of one of the two projects shown below:

WATER

To address the concerning levels of water scarcity in Monterrey.

AIR

To address the alarming rates of air pollution in Monterrey.

Students will participate in a range of engaging, tailor-made workshops designed to further their understanding of the causes of, and resolutions to these issues. In teams, students will be tasked with presenting solutions to these crucial issues based on their workshop experiences, personal research and knowledge and through discussion with their peers. The projects will provide opportunities for collaboration, problem-solving, confidence-building and communication skills.
