SCHOOL LUNCH

We aim to give our parents flexibility with lunch options. At our Lam Tin and Kwun Tong campuses, children can bring their own lunch or alternatively order and buy food from the school cafeteria.

OPTION 1: BRINGING YOUR OWN SNACK AND LUNCH

If the children bring their own snack, lunch and water bottle in the morning, the teacher will help store them in the classroom – and will then help the children get out their snack/lunch at the right time. There are no fridges or microwaves in the classrooms, so if they are bringing a hot lunch then we recommend using a warm food flask, and if they are bringing cold snack, then a mini ice-pack and cool bag is a great option.

OPTION 2: SCHOOL CAFETERIA (LAM TIN & KWUN TONG CAMPUSes)

Pupils have the option of buying a hot lunch, freshly prepared on campus. Please see the below for the order form.

If you would like to order from the School Cafeteria, the pre-order school lunch is highly recommended for all year groups. Please make your selection and include the cheque – and you can pass it to class teacher or directly to Cafeteria. The lunch menu and enrolment form for the following month will be sent by the regular Friday Parent Update.

For Years 4 or above, the children can choose each day what they would like to eat and pay with their Student Octopus card. In addition to the hot lunch, there are other choices such as sandwiches, salads, fruits and so on.

May we also ask that you not to deliver lunches for your children during the day. We do not have the staff to deliver packed hot lunches to individual pupils.

We are also a NO NUTS school so please do not bring any nuts to school as we have children attending the school that have life-threatening allergies. We encourage healthy eating habits to all our pupils, so avoid fizzy drinks and sweets.

Should you have any enquiries about our school lunch service, please contact Chartwell Unit Manager by email nais@compass-hk.com (Lam Tin Campus) / naiskt@compass-hk.com (Kwun Tong Campus) / Tel: 3958 1418.

Water bottles

Cold filtered water is available around the school, and we encourage your child to bring water bottles which they can fill regularly.

Kwun Tong Campus – Noodle Station

Pre-ordered and day-of purchase lunch will now provide a soup-based noodle choice (Meal D) for secondary school pupils. The lunch enrolment form has been updated to include Meal D "DM" stands for Meal D for Meat Toppings and "DV" stands for Meal D for Vegetarian.

Different toppings which are freshly prepared by caterer will be included in the noodle choice. Pupils are free to select the DV or DM option on the lunch enrolment form.
