For the past four years, I have had the pleasure of teaching English at an international school in Norway. This has been a rewarding experience, due to developing my teaching skills through working with students from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, and getting to explore such a beautiful country. Teaching English is my passion, as I love when my students have different views and opinions to share. I feel that teaching 'buzz' most when my students are discussing and debating deep issues in texts.
Before Norway, I lived in Nottingham, where I completed my Undergraduate Degree in English at the University of Nottingham, then my PGCE at Nottingham Trent University. Here, I also developed my love for musical theatre, and have directed, choreographed and performed in various musicals and plays.
In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active. I love a range of outdoor activities, like hiking, skiing, climbing and camping, and I can't wait to explore the beautiful nature in Cambodia. I am incredibly excited for this new opportunity and am very much looking forward to seeing what this new chapter will bring.
