As a language acquisition teacher, I enjoy exposing students to diverse cultures and perspectives, helping to foster more empathy and open-mindedness. I appreciate the flexibility of language acquisition, as it allows students to explore topics and themes that resonate personally with them. Though I'm from Alberta, Canada, I've had the privilege of teaching in Kuwait, China, and the United Arab Emirates. These experiences have enriched my understanding of different places, cultures, and perspectives.
Living abroad has also allowed me to travel, enhancing my own learning and worldview. I also enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, and the occasional DIY/craft project.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies (University of Calgary); Bachelor of Education in Secondary Social Studies and English as a Second Language (University of Alberta).
