Spending 8 years in nursing, specifically working in paediatrics, was the catalyst for my move into teaching little ones. I was afforded the opportunity to take over a playgroup for 18months to 3 year olds and never looked back. The next step was teaching at Nottingham Road Pre-Primary for 4 years before our family moved to Zambia from South Africa, where I was able to complete my Diploma in Early Childhood Development.
Away from school, I enjoy swimming, yoga, reading and taking care of my beautiful family. Although I enjoy cooking, I cannot wait to experience Cambodian and South East Asian cuisine. My family and I have lived in some beautiful places in South Africa but are extremely excited to add Cambodia to our list of wonderful homes.
Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Development - Caversham Education Institute; Nursing Diploma - Netcare Training Academy, South Africa.
