My love of knowledge in the area of the Humanities goes back as far as I can remember. So I'm proud to have taught DP Geography, DP History, DP Global Politics and MYP Individuals and Societies during my time at NISC. I love to incorporate knowledge from each of these disciplines in each lesson so that students can develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. However, even that deep commitment might pale in comparison to the joy that teaching Theory of Knowledge brings me. In an age of constant information (and disinformation) overload, guiding the students through the process of deciding "How do I recognize authentic knowledge that I can depend on?" is a mission I care deeply about each and every day. I was born in Ireland, grew up in Chicago and have most recently taught in Thailand. I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, golf and playing board games with my children.
