As we strive for excellence in education, we are continuously seeking ways to enhance the teaching and learning experience for our students. With this goal in mind, we have adopted the renowned White Rose maths scheme and integrated new app subscriptions such as Times Tables Rockstars and Numbots into our curriculum.
The decision to transition to the White Rose maths scheme has been made with careful consideration of its proven effectiveness in promoting mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. This curriculum emphasises a mastery approach, ensuring that students have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts before progressing to more complex topics. By aligning our teaching methods with this approach, we aim to equip our students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for success in mathematics and beyond.
In addition to the White Rose maths scheme, we have introduced Times Tables Rockstars and Numbots to further support our students' mathematical fluency. These engaging apps provide interactive platforms for practicing essential mathematical skills, such as times tables and number sense, in a fun and motivating way. By incorporating these resources into our curriculum, we hope to instill a love for mathematics and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
At Northbridge, we recognise the importance of promoting mathematical fluency from an early age. By starting our students on this journey towards mathematical mastery in primary school, we are laying the foundation for their future academic success. We believe that every child has the potential to excel in mathematics, and our new curriculum is designed to unlock that potential.
We are excited about the opportunities that our new mathematics curriculum presents for our students, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on their learning journey. Together, we can inspire a generation of confident and capable mathematicians.
