Nord Anglia Education (NAE), the world’s leading premium international schools organisation, today announced its IGCSE results for the 2020/21 academic year.
Nord Anglia’s IGCSE student cohort achieved an outstanding set of results, marking a record-breaking year for NAE. Across our global family of schools, 59.6% of students achieved grades A*-A, up from 55.7% last year and well above the UK average of 28.5%.
This year a total of 2,364 NAE students sat the exam, achieving a group-wide pass rate of 89.5%, while thirteen NAE schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate.
Students at the British International School Ho Chi Minh City achieved especially impressive results with 83.8% of students achieving A*-A grades. Other notable schools include the British International School, Kuala Lumpur, where students achieved 81% A*-A grades, and d’Overbroeck’s, where in Years 7-11 a total of 22.9% of entries were awarded the highest grades.
