We are pleased to share that Nord Anglia Education has officially welcomed the American International School of Rotterdam (AISR) to our family of schools!
Known for its close-knit community, AISR is located just outside of downtown Rotterdam in the Netherlands and has steadfastly served a diverse mix of nationalities since its founding in 1959. AISR currently educates more than 260 students aged three to 18 years old. The school also operates a child care facility called Funtazia for children up to four years old.
Joining Nord Anglia Education will connect AISR students and staff to a wider global community and provide access to our rich resources, support and global opportunities. We are looking forward to working together as we start this exciting new chapter for the school!
As part of Nord Anglia’s global community, AISR will continue to be led by the same trusted leadership and talented staff, now with access to even more resources, expertise and opportunities to further enhance the education we offer our students.
We sat down with Dr Pete Paciorek, Head of Leadership & Character Development at IMG Academy, to learn more about how sports can help students build leadership skills, both on and off the field. IMG Academy’s global collaboration with Nord Anglia is designed to help students develop their sense of wellbeing, resilience, and confidence, as well as their teamwork and leadership skills.
Metacognition project ‘showcases the incredible potential of reflective learning on a global scale’.
Nord Anglia’s IB students achieved an average diploma score of 34 points, surpassing this year’s IBDP global average by almost four points.
