Nord Anglia Education schools win at British International School Awards
We are delighted and extremely proud to announce two Nord Anglia Education schools won British International School Awards at the BISA gala event that took place on Monday evening in London.
The BISAs recognise excellence in British schools overseas, celebrate the successes of the education sector and help set benchmarks for best practices in schools.
The British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park clinched the award for Outstanding Initiative leading to Creativity in Learning 2018, while Dover Court International School Singapore took home the award for Outstanding Senior Leadership Team of the Year 2018.
The Award for Outstanding Initiative leading to Creativity in Learning recognises schools that have developed an initiative that is creative, innovative and significantly enhances student learning. The award for Outstanding Senior Leadership Team of the Year identifies senior leaders of schools who have approached an initiative by leading in an inspirational way. The initiative must demonstrate collaboration, be sustainable, supportive of their school's mission and improve student outcomes.
BISA is organised by the British International Schools magazine with the support of ISC Research. It celebrates innovation in strategic, financial and educational projects in schools around the world. Schools that qualify and make the shortlist demonstrate exceptional quality in education, and winning schools become a benchmark for the education sector to emulate.
Metacognition project ‘showcases the incredible potential of reflective learning on a global scale’.
