The partnership between Nord Anglia Education and WCL will unite Nord Anglia Education’s 14 schools throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia with WCL’s 11 schools in North America, Qatar and Spain.

Nord Anglia Education Merges With World Class Learning (WCL) Group Friday 24 May 2013 - Nord Anglia Education will now operate 25 schools in 11 countries and be responsible for the education of over 14,500 students. WCL

The partnership between Nord Anglia Education and WCL will unite Nord Anglia Education’s 14 schools throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia with WCL’s 11 schools in North America, Qatar and Spain.

The complementary partnership will enable Nord Anglia Education to enter the North American market whilst strengthening its presence in the Middle East and Europe. The addition of WCL’s outstanding schools will further strengthen Nord Anglia Education’s position as the world’s leading premium schools organisation.  

The partnership brings considerable benefits of scale to the group globally in terms of the on-going development of best in class curricula, educational facilities for students and continuing professional development for all staff.

WCL set up its first school in Washington DC in 1998 and delivers premium K-12 education through its 11 international schools.  In addition, WCL offers leading-edge educational products and services to schools worldwide, including its international curricula which are used by nearly 1,500 schools in some 80 countries.

The combined premium schools organisation will operate 25 schools in 11 countries and be responsible for the education of over 14,500 students.
