Partick Horne brings to The British International School Shanghai, Pudong a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience coupled with a strong work ethic and a high energy level.  In short, he possesses the requisite skills to be an outstanding school Principal.

He joins us from Harrogate Grammar School, an Independent Academy School in the UK, rated as outstanding and one of the first 100 schools to hold ‘National Teaching School’ status, where he served as Associate Headteacher, overseeing Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning.  He was responsible for transforming the learning environment to incorporate 21st century opportunities for students and drive excellent examination results.  Prior to Harrogate Grammar School, Patrick was Deputy Principal at Jerudong International School, Brunei from where he will draw on valuable experience in an international education setting.

He has a Bachelor’s of Education, in Secondary Mathematics, a postgraduate Certificate in Educational Management and the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers.
