NAS Abu Dhabi Launches Its First A-Level Programme, Ready to Open Doors to Year 12 Students in August 2025

In August 2025, NAS Abu Dhabi will welcome its first Year 12 students, opening doors to an exciting new A-Level programme. Over two years, these students will embark on a transformative journey backed by Nord Anglia Education’s global reputation for excellence, with one in two students moving on to study at the world’s top 100 universities. We’re committed to build on this legacy, guiding each student towards their university and career ambitions.

Principal and Head of Secondary, Liam Cullinan, will lead our A-Level programme, bringing with him an impressive track record. During his time as Founding Head of Secondary at Nord Anglia International School Dubai, Liam transformed the school into a centre of academic excellence, placing it among the world’s top 100 schools. His approach combines high standards with a warm, supportive environment, where students feel inspired to excel and equipped to thrive.

The A-Level curriculum is globally recognised for its rigour and flexibility, allowing students to specialise in the subjects they’re passionate about. A-Levels are a qualification that carries weight with universities worldwide, giving our students an edge as they move on to higher education.
