KEEPING HEALTHY AND STAYING BALANCED
LOOKING AFTER OUR WELL-BEING
At NAISNY, we believe that emotional intelligence and strong relationships are vital to helping our students achieve their goals and thrive as young adults. Our youngest learners begin to build their emotional wellness when they practice ways to describe how they feel and how to resolve negative emotions. As our students mature, they get more advanced in PSHE (Personal Social Health Education) with their peers, where they discuss topics like positivity, mental and physical health, bullying, and financial literacy, among others.
Throughout all activities, we guide our students with eight “NAISNY Habits”: communication, resilience, morality, adaptability, respect, inquiry, thoughtfulness, and cooperation. These habits help our students become balanced and deliberate in their actions, whether that’s as a classmate, teammate, family member, or global citizen.
CARING THAT DRIVES ACTION
Student Enterprise week at NAISNY is especially a stimulating time of the year when each year group is given a budget to design, create, and market their own original, sustainable product to raise funds for a charity of their choice. Each year group uses their social entrepreneurship skills, as they apply their talents and witness the positive impact they can have in a community.
