We are thrilled to announce that Nord Anglia International School New York (NAISNY) is relocating to a new campus in the vibrant and historic Gramercy neighborhood for the 2025-26 academic year!
The arts form a fundamental part of our school's curriculum. We value the importance that all of the arts play in developing a well-rounded, confident child. Once a year, local New York artists come to our school to work with our students for a whole week. This year they experienced all forms of art: from music and drama to dance, art and poetry.
On October 4th 2019, our school participated in an MIT Wow Day challenge, which asked students to come up with ideas, solutions and prototypes for cameras that would work in the world's most challenging environments. The challenge, titled 'Extreme Exposure' was given to our youngest students, aged 2 up to our oldest students in Year 9. Here is a summary of the day and their ideas!
At Nord Anglia International School New York, music is given an important place in your child's education. We have written, in collaboration with our Head of Performing Arts and Juilliard Lead Teacher, Cristyn Draper, an article all about music here at Nord Anglia and the benefits you can hope to see from immersing your child in a musical environment. Also detailed are the biographies of our Juilliard specialist teachers who visit the school to teach our students in private lessons.
