In today’s world, prioritising mental health is more urgent than ever. At Nord Anglia International School Manila (NAISM), we understand the importance of mental well-being for students and parents alike. The World Health Organisation emphasises that there is no health without mental health. Despite this, many individuals hesitate to seek counselling, even when it could greatly benefit them. Have you ever faced a similar situation where you considered counselling but chose not to pursue it? What barriers held you back? Let’s address some common misconceptions about counselling and how NAISM supports mental health for families in Manila.

Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health
At Nord Anglia International School Manila, we strive to normalise seeking mental health support. Just as visiting a medical doctor is routine, prioritising mental well-being should be equally embraced. By fostering awareness and empathy, we build a compassionate community that values care and support for all.
For families seeking a holistic and supportive educational environment, NAISM is more than just an international school—it’s a place where students’ mental health and well-being are nurtured, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Let’s work together to break the stigma and cultivate a mindful, supportive community at NAISM.
