On 2nd April 2019 students from NAIS Manila will be setting off to Hanoi, Vietnam for The Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival.
The Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival is Nord Anglia Education’s first regional performing arts festival in collaboration with The Juilliard School in Southeast Asia.
Hosted at The British International School in Hanoi, Vietnam, this is an exciting event where students will have the opportunity to experience working with top class musicians in a highly supportive setting and in the process, ignite their passion and creativity through performance and other unique experiences.
The Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival features a dynamic programme running from the 2nd to 6th April 2019 uniting students ages 10-18 from across nine Nord Anglia Education schools in Southeast Asia.
Students will engage and build relationships with each other and expand their knowledge and passion for music through a series of workshops, rehearsals and performances.
NAIS Manila students have been working hard with Mr. Fazakerley and Ms. Cristina as they prepare for this exciting opportunity.
Students will take part in the orchestra and festival choir as well as an elective ensemble for the final performance.
Led by renowned educators and artists, NAE students will learn from professional artists affiliated with Juilliard.
The trip will culminate in a performance at the Grand Concert Hall of Vietnam National Academy of Music located in central Hanoi.
