RECREATIONAL SPORTS
Students can play sport more or less every day if they wish, and for the enthusiast there are many outstanding opportunities to play, have fun and keep fit.
All pupils from Year 1 through to Secondary have three classes of Physical Education (PE) per week. This includes one lesson of swimming.
Lessons involve a range of activities, from team sports such as football and volleyball to individual sports like tennis, badminton and table tennis, as well as those focused on fitness and athletics like gymnastics and dance.
Running in tandem with our curriculum is our after-school and lunchtime Extracurricular Activities (ECA) programme. This offers students a chance to try new activities in a friendly atmosphere. We offer a range of sports, from hockey to T-ball. A great number of pupils join in with an ECA every week, many of whom use their training in these ECAs as a stepping stone into the competitive programme available at our school. There are inter-house competitions too, which are fun for a wide range of young sportsmen and sportswomen.
