Dear Parents,
As we approach Chinese New Year, the excitement in our school is palpable. Our children are delving into the enchanting world of the Zodiac story and exploring customs and traditions surrounding this festive time. We are eagerly counting down the days until our special Celebration morning on January 24th, starting with an exhilarating Lion Dance at 8:45 am.
School Trips
Last week was filled with memorable experiences for our young students. Our Reception children embarked on an adventure to the Wishing Tree, a cherished tradition in Hong Kong. Watching them write their wishes on placards, tie them to mandarins, and toss them high onto the tree was a special sight. The magic of this ritual captivated our students, sparking their imaginations.
Meanwhile, our Year 1 class set off on an educational journey to the Dinosaur Park, as part of the launch of their new topic, "Dinosaurs." Whilst exploring the different dinosaurs at the park, the children found an unusual egg, which they brought back to school for further investigations. By immersing children in intriguing themes, we ignite their curiosity and see the children's engagement and intrigue soar. This was also evident in the children’s Art lessons with Ms. Lewsey, as the children crafted creative and vibrant multi-media Dinosaur landscapes.
