Dear Parents,

Exciting Theatre Trip

Last Friday, our Year 1 and Reception classes had the fantastic opportunity to attend a performance of The Gruffalo at the theatre. What an exciting experience it was! The children were completely captivated by the show, immersing themselves in the enchanting world of the story. It was delightful to see them engage with the characters as they developed on stage, truly bringing this beloved story to life.

This trip was not just an exciting adventure, but also a meaningful way to reinforce our next Assembly Value: Courage. The children displayed courage as they engaged with live theatre, connected with the story, and experienced the magic of performance. We encourage you to talk with your child about the show and delve into themes of bravery and creativity—much like the clever and courageous mouse!

Parent Information Session
We are pleased to announce an Optional Parent Information Session led by Ms. Day on October 3rd at 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM. During this session, Ms. Day will share our approach to understanding and supporting young children's behaviour, as well as their social and emotional well-being. Understanding these aspects is crucial in fostering a nurturing environment for our children. Further information and sign-up have been sent from Ms. Griffin today.

Immediately following the session, you are warmly invited to join your child in class to see the learning in action 9:15AM – 10:00AM. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness firsthand the engaging activities your child is involved in daily. We hope many of you can make it. If you are unable to attend, we will ensure that all information is shared via Firefly.

I am also looking forward to welcoming our class coordinators to school tomorrow afternoon for theirPTA Induction session. A heartfelt thank you to all volunteers. Your involvement is invaluable, and I can’t wait to start planning some exciting events that will enrich our children’s experiences and strengthen our school community.

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming parent session.

Yours sincerely,

Ruth Hanson
