Message from the PTA

Dear All,

It is amazing to see all of you back and we want to extend our warmest welcome to the new parents joining us!

Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the heartbeat of our school community, where parents and teachers come together to make a difference. We're a fun-loving bunch of volunteers, passionate about creating memorable experiences for our children and fostering a nurturing environment for their growth. In exciting news, as a parent of NAIS HK you are all ALREADY PTA members!

Please let us introduce ourselves - the PTA EXCO voted in by the PTA Committee in June at the PTA AGM.

Besides the EXCO, the PTA is split into two main volunteer groups - with some crossover - we are so fortunate to have many dedicated parents who lend their time and/or expertise to support us.

The Committee is our pool of parents who we can call upon for expertise and help - be that hands on deck for events, graphic design, communication and coordination - we are always looking for knowledge in our community, so please reach out to help out: ptanaishk@gmail.com.

The Class Coordinators (CC) are our day-to-day contact with parents via Class What’s app - split by class, and in the older years, by year group. They are our ear to the ground and work tirelessly throughout the year - we couldn’t run an effective PTA without them!
At the beginning of the year, we are still looking for class coordinators for the following classes. Kindly reach out to us if you are interested: ptanaishk@gmail.com.

Classes without a CC:
Class: 2B, 9B, 9C, 9E, 9F and 10C

Classes that can have an extra pair of hands to help:
Class 2D, 5B, ⁠6C, ⁠7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, 7F, 7G, 8A, 8B, 9A, 9D

We appreciate it if parents can help out! Class Coordinators have first-hand information about school happenings and the benefit of enjoying the front rows in school performances and being present at class parties. Most of the work can be done from home or office.
