Message from the Principal - Message from the Deputy Principal

Dear Parents,

What a superb first week of the new academic year! The weather did not dampen the spirits of students or staff and although we had some heavy rain, both returning and new students and staff had a great week.

Across the school we came together as campus communities with welcome back assemblies in each campus, this was an ideal opportunity to welcome new staff and students.

This academic year celebrates our 10th Anniversary of NAIS HK, as we opened our doors to our first students on 1st September 2014. Our secondary assembly celebrated our achievements from our current cohorts in their recent exams as well as congratulating our founding students in Years 11/12 and 13, who have been with us since that very first day! We will continue to share updates and events to mark this anniversary throughout this year as well as look forward to our next 10 years!

At the start of the year, it is an ideal time to reflect on the successes of previous years as well as to look forward to achievements and events approaching. We will be welcoming parents into the Primary school from next week to share Curriculum updates with each year group and there are more events planned for parents to be involved in their child’s learning journey at NAIS HK. Primary children will be preparing for their residential trips shortly and parent information events are happening over the next few weeks. Students in secondary will already be aware of the Enrichment Week arrangements for November and I know that many of our students are already getting excited about these opportunities.

Our sporting fixtures begin next week and the Sports ECAs have already started in preparation for this in Secondary. Primary ECAs are being finalised and you will receive your allocated ECAs over the course of the next week or so.

I look forward to seeing many of you over the next few weeks at our Curriculum events.
