Early Years Campus Weekly Update

Early Years Campus Weekly Update - Early Years Campus Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

It has been an exciting week in school as we introduced our first House Captains of the Year during our Friday assembly. The role of House Captain is not just a title but a responsibility to help each other and support others in our school community.

We were truly impressed by the children's presentations on why they aspired to become House Captains. Their reasons ranged from wanting to help their friends to being positive role models for younger students. It was heartening to witness their eagerness to take on leadership roles at such a young age.

At NAIS Hong Kong, we believe in nurturing student voice and providing opportunities for children to lead and support one another. Cultivating healthy relationships from a young age is crucial, and we are delighted to see our students embrace this concept wholeheartedly.

Without further ado, allow me to announce the House Captains for the first half of this year:

  • Balmoral: Karlie and Asher
  • Caernarfon: Samuel
  • Sandringham: Vanessa
  • Windsor: Oliver and Aiden

Our newly appointed House Captains have already embarked on their first challenge - the Greening Project. They have researched indoor plants that will enhance our environment and purify the air. The children have been actively engaging with teachers and peers to select their favorite plants.

Children's voices are powerful, and their capacity for leadership is inspiring. Our House Captains will also champion our Box of Hope Appeal, encouraging everyone at NAIS Sai Kung to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

In the second half of the year, a new set of House Captains will take the lead on further initiatives across our school, fostering a culture of teamwork and community involvement.

Thank you for your continued support in empowering our young leaders and fostering a caring environment at NAIS Hong Kong.
