Our Primary assembly last Friday came from 4C who have been fully immersed in the Rainforest this term; in Humanities (Geography), Science (Habitats) and English (The Kapok Tree)! So, there was no question what they wanted to share in their assembly.
Using Inquiry Questions to guide them, they explored where Rainforests are located, the animals and plants they might find there, why Rainforests are so important and some of the reasons Rainforests are endangered.
Hoping to inspire change, they found out and presented what they can do to reduce deforestation and save the Rainforests. They had a fantastic time sharing their learning, and their Ukulele playing with the rest of the school and would like to send a big thank you to their parents for their support!
