Focus on CORE attitudes to learning shows impressive progress in years 7, 8 and 9 The Secondary Leadership team are immensely proud of the achievements of our pupils who have demonstrated impressive progress across all their subjects.

The Secondary Leadership team are immensely proud of the achievements of our pupils who have demonstrated impressive progress across all their subjects. The number of pupils achieving top attainment in all 12 of their subjects has tripled since October. A huge congratulations to our students and to our teachers.

We strongly believe that a pupil’s attitude to learning is one of the keys to improving their attainment. Collaboration, Organisation, Respect and Engagement (CORE) are critical qualities for all our secondary pupils. Our teachers and tutors are supporting students to improve their individual approaches to learning.

This focus is really showing results and we have doubled the number of pupils in KS3 who have received the top Platinum award in attainment.  We anticipate that  these results may be even higher by the end of the year.

This is testament to the hard work, perseverance and resilience of our KS3 pupils who have flourished despite interruptions to their schooling this year.

At NAISHK, our House System sits at the centre of everything that we do.  As well as instilling an important sense of identity, it also fosters friendly competition and I would like to congratulate Balmoral House, our Secondary Review 3 winners for achieving an impressive 94.17% average score in their attitudes to learning!
