Our student journalist, Helen Kim from the British School of Beijing, Shunyi, reports on Nord Anglia Education's side meeting at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum in New York City
In June, Nord Anglia Education students attended a side event at the United Nations Oceans Conference to discuss the role of youth in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Students ages 10-24 focused on Goal #14 to improve the health of marine life and the ocean.
Students from NAIS, a Nord Anglia Education school, have showcased their STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) skills to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) researchers, professors and students at the annual MIT- Nord Anglia STEAMFest.
NAIS Hong Kong is pleased to announce its first ever Artist-in-Residence programme with Cornelia Erdmann collaborating with the PTA (special thanks to PTA member Mrs Jessica Bruser and specialist Art teacher Mrs Sarah-Jane Pate for helping to make this happen). Ms. Erdmann is an award-winning artist specialising in public art, commissions and multi-media installations and we very much look forward to her working with our students, and for them to be a part of this fantastic project.
