On Wednesday the 23rd of January, as part of our collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), ISM students participated in a STEAM Day Event. Students had the opportunity to collaborate and participate in exciting workshops and activities in all subjects. These activities increased students’ understanding of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts & Maths) while developing their interdisciplinary learning and practical problem-solving skills.

With Christmas just around the corner, it was time for our annual Swimming Showcase events. Each event began with a short lesson to give parents a glimpse of coaching techniques and training.
ISM hears ‘The Sounds of Music’ and it is a real treat! Students and parents gathered at Krylatskaya Lower Campus to watch another splendid rendition of a classical musical by Lower Primary students.
Experiential learning empowers children in a way that guided, dependant work does not. Children are able to pursue their own areas of interest and solve problems as they occur. Their learning becomes relative to their own interests and thus, can produce higher levels of focus and concentration.
