Our inspiring Social Impact Programme challenges our students to think about what they can do to make a difference. Organised with UNICEF, the programme supports the UN Sustainable Development 2030 agenda. Every year, we set a Global Challenge which sees students from across Nord Anglia come together in seminars, workshops and speaking opportunities at the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) at the UN HQ in New York. The D1 BISS Lions Girls Volleyball team participated in the SISAC Plate Tournament at the French School of Shanghai on Saturday 26 October. Entering the tournament as the 6th seed, the Lions finished their western division season with a record of 2 wins and 6 losses.
On Wednesday, our Year 9 French students embarked on an adventure around Shanghai’s Former French Concession, retracing the footsteps of the famous Belgian cartoon journalist, Tintin.
