Northbridge International School Cambodia would like to announce that Head of Secondary Mr Ben Holman will be moving to a new post within our Nord Anglia Education family of schools from the beginning of next academic year.

Under Ben's leadership, the Secondary school has continued to go from strength to strength over the past 3 years.

During his time at Northbridge, our IB Diploma results have risen well above the world average, our pastoral and academic support programs have been well embedded, and our student numbers have grown significantly as families continue to make Northbridge their school of choice in Cambodia.

In addition to his leadership role, Ben also taught Mathematics and Geography, and successfully coached our Senior Boys Football team to numerous victories.

"On behalf of the entire Northbridge community, I'd like to offer my sincere thanks to Ben for his notable contribution to the life and development of Northbridge International School Cambodia," says Principal Richard Vaughan.

Following an extensive international recruitment process, we are delighted to announce that we have appointed Ben's successor, Ms Frances Morton, who will join us in August 2019.

Frances Morton has a Masters Degree in Toxicology, a Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry and a PGCE from Worcester College.

Having qualified as a teacher in the UK in 1994, Frances spent 3 years teaching in Wales before joining the international circuit. She has since taught in the USA, UAE, New Zealand, Argentina and Colombia. She has also been a Senior IBDP Examiner and Moderator in Biology for 12 years.

She will be joining Northbridge International School Cambodia from Colegio Gran Bretaña in Bogotá, where she was the Head of Secondary.

Frances’ philosophy in education is that children can learn when the education environment is inclusive and student centred, and that a successful educational environment is achieved when it is built on relationships and clear goal setting. She is a strong believer in seeing people’s assets, and enjoys bringing teachers together in a bid to nurture a sense of team.

She is very excited about coming to Northbridge next year to lead the Secondary school, and exploring Southeast Asia. She will travel with her husband and two of their four children.
