Students at Compass International School, part of the global Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating after receiving their AS-Level / IBDP & IGCSE results.
This was the first year in which our new ultramodern campus in Al Themaid held AS-Level and IGCSE exams. Several members of our AS-Level cohort achieved A grades including Joseph, Ahmed and Abeer who each received four A grades respectively. The school's IGCSE programme grades saw 72% of our students achieve A*-C.
In our Madinat Khalifa campus, IGCSE results have continued to improve year on year. 83% of our students achieved five or more A*-C grades which includes subjects Maths and English and almost half of our grades were awarded at A*-A. Five subjects are also celebrating a pass rate of 100%.
A special mention must also go to students Anastasija, Mohammed, Timea, and En Cheng who achieved no less than a grade A in all their subjects and to Subhan for achieving 9 A* grades.
Earlier in the summer, students, teachers, parents and the wider school community celebrated record results in our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Compass International School received a pass rate of 96% with nearly 20% of students achieving a score of 40 or above out of 45, which places those students in the top 15% worldwide. This year’s IBDP results also marks another milestone for the school, achieving its highest subject points average in history.
Student Leen scored a remarkable 43 of 45 points which places her in the top 7% globally.
The impressive results achieved this year is a testament to our ever-inspiring student body, dedicated teaching staff and school’s high academic standards.
Globally, Nord Anglia Education students achieved 65.4% of grades at A*-A this year, along with 83.7% at A*-B. These results are well above last year’s A*-A grade average of 45.4% and significantly higher than the UK average.
A total of 611 Nord Anglia Education students sat the exam this year, achieving a group-wide pass rate of 99.4% at A*-E grades, while seven NAE schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate.
