In November 2022, students and teachers in Year 7 from BVIS Hanoi participated in the renovation of the garden at Red River, founded by Think Playgrounds.
Linked with the IPC topic about Celebrations, our Early Year and Year 1 students participated in the Tet Shoeboxes project where they prepared useful items in a gift box for disadvantaged children living in Hanoi. Their gift boxes were fully handed to those who were in need before Tet holiday.
Last week, our Smile Club, part of our commitment to community service, had two trips to the Operation Smile medical mission at the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology.
On November 26 afternoon, Green ID Vietnam spent a great time with BVIS Hanoi students with games and challenges about green energy and clean air. This meaningful activity aims at raising student awareness about the importance of applying sustainable energy to schools, households and providing students with basic information about the Green School Programme which encourages students to speak and take action for a green future.
The students at BVIS have again showed how they care about our community and during the Christmas Market raised over 14 million VND which we have used to buy gifts for the Blue Dragon children for the Tet holiday.
The British Vietnamese International School, Hanoi has a core commitment to the all-round development of each child. Projects are currently being developed for both primary and secondary schools.
