Community Run 2023 is back

On August 29, all BVIS Hanoi students and teachers from Year 1 to Year 13 will join the Community Run at Royal City Square (Hanoi, Vietnam)

BVIS students joined building community garden in Hanoi

In November 2022, students and teachers in Year 7 from BVIS Hanoi participated in the renovation of the garden at Red River, founded by Think Playgrounds.

Tet Shoeboxes: Early Year and Year 1 students’ meaningful gift for disadvantaged children living in Hanoi

Linked with the IPC topic about Celebrations, our Early Year and Year 1 students participated in the Tet Shoeboxes project where they prepared useful items in a gift box for disadvantaged children living in Hanoi. Their gift boxes were fully handed to those who were in need before Tet holiday.

During Term 1, BVIS Hanoi students were very active in community activities. Dedicating their time as a volunteer helps them make new friends, expand their network, and boost their socialskills.

World Children's Day 2019

This year we celebrate 30 years of UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) - the most ratified UN Treaty and has played a central role to improve the lives of children around the world.

Share the fun with the children in need

BVIS Hanoi and ‘Think Playgrounds’ have decided to invest this money into building a playground for more than 1000 children at Duong Nhan commune, Dong Anh, Hanoi.

Last week, our Smile Club, part of our commitment to community service, had two trips to the Operation Smile medical mission at the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology.

BVIS Hanoi and Green ID collaboration for a Green Future

On November 26 afternoon, Green ID Vietnam spent a great time with BVIS Hanoi students with games and challenges about green energy and clean air. This meaningful activity aims at raising student awareness about the importance of applying sustainable energy to schools, households and providing students with basic information about the Green School Programme which encourages students to speak and take action for a green future.

Tanzania trip - An adventure of winning and giving

'It was clear that all the students took away something from the experience. It was more than just a sore thumb and aching muscles. They left Tanzania with a new set of skills, developed their problem-solving, experienced cultures that were nothing like they had seen before, made a lot of new friends and, most importantly, impacted on the lives of people who remain less fortunate than themselves' - Gareth Owen, Head of Learning Support (BVIS Hanoi) shared about the student expedition trip to Tanzania 2018.

Caring for our Community: Blue Dragon Foundation

Thank you to Mr Chris Humphrey from the ‘Blue Dragon Foundation’ for coming in to talk to our secondary staff and students.

Community: Saigon House's Trip to Blue Dragon Foundation

The students at BVIS have again showed how they care about our community and during the Christmas Market raised over 14 million VND which we have used to buy gifts for the Blue Dragon children for the Tet holiday.
