EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE (EYFS)
We believe your child’s first few years of school should be fun – and our teachers are always creating memorable activities so that your child will build a love of learning.
National Curriculum for England
At BISW, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, giving your child an excellent start to school life as they develop a true love of learning.
National Curriculum for England (NCE) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC)
Our Primary curriculum combines the best aspects of the National Curriculum for England (NCE) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which are designed to teach students how to develop subject knowledge and sharpen their sense of the world.
Middle School, known at BISW as Lower Secondary for Years 7–9, is a time of great transition for students, both academically and emotionally. At BISW, our students are introduced to a vast array of new and fascinating ideas designed to develop their critical thinking skills, curiosity, and love of learning.
National Curriculum for England
Our Lower Secondary (Middle School) curriculum meets the challenges of a rapidly changing world, promoting both academic and personal development. Key Stage 3 of the English National Curriculum begins, as our students continue to develop their skills and knowledge in a stimulating and challenging learning environment.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) CURRICULUM
The IGCSE is a two-year program that culminates in externally set, marked, and certificated examinations from the University of Cambridge.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
The IGCSE is a qualification recognized globally, and it is an ideal foundation for higher-level courses, including The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). The program is similar to the UK's General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), although it has more of an international theme.
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP)
From Year 12 onward, students at BISW all follow The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). The IB is a challenging two-year course of study that prepares students for success in higher education and for life in a global society. This program of study leads to the highly regarded qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities.
