Before I came to BISS Puxi, I taught Chinese in a local high school for two years. I started teaching Mandarin in BISS Puxi in 2007 and also took on the role of Head of Native Mandarin.
I currently work across the whole school supporting the Mandarin team with the Native Mandarin curriculum in both the Primary and Secondary Schools. As an IB examiner, I also lead in-department and cross-department training sessions. I enjoy working within an international school setting, as it offers examples of excellent practice and opportunities for professional development, which I strive to feed back into my work. I love being a Mandarin teacher in an international school; I build happy, positive, friendly relationships with the children I work with whilst maintaining good discipline.
