I started my teaching career in high schools and universities in the Philippines in 1997. Prior to teaching Biology in China, I took leadership roles in Indonesia alongside being a Form Tutor and an AS/A Level teacher. I became an IB examiner in 2015 and continued teaching IB to date.
I am delighted to see how my students transform into independent learners and critical thinkers capable of accepting the fact that they could make mistakes and see them as opportunities to learn and improve. I aim for them to have a growth mindset and a strong sense of stewardship not only for themselves but also for others.
