Sadly, Mr Lancaster was knocked out of the first round of Mario Kart. Next week, it will be Fruit Ninja, FIFA and Just Dance! We have had Year 11 students and Mr Kelly complete the Ice Bucket challenge. Teachers took part in the Spicy Noodle Challenge and a Year 9 Football match where 9I won over 9B. Our talented muscians have put on amazing concerts, starting with our soloist perfomances on from Benjamin Hsin 9I, Kylie Yeung 9S, Polina Levchuck 11S, Edwin Shi 11I, Hao-Chen Shi 11B, Evie Gilsenan 11S, Edward Lee and Asia Carra 9P. Students from The British International School Shanghai, Puxi, had the thrilling opportunity to visit the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as part of the school’s collaboration with the famous institution.

On 30 October, Year 12 English A students took part in their own BISS Talks event, delivering a range of engaging presentations. Standing in front of an audience can be a daunting task, but the speakers rose to the occasion, sharing their ideas with confidence and passion.
The D1 BISS Lions Girls Volleyball team participated in the SISAC Plate Tournament at the French School of Shanghai on Saturday 26 October. Entering the tournament as the 6th seed, the Lions finished their western division season with a record of 2 wins and 6 losses.
