Coach Doug Brotherton Named PCA's Double-Goal Coach Winner Please join us in congratulating coach Doug Brotherton on his selection as a PCA Double-Goal Coach Winner for his outstanding commitment to developing athletes. PCA's Double-Goal Coach Award is given to youth and high school sports coaches from throughout the U.S. who embody the ideals of the Double-Goal Coach, striving to win, while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.

Coach Brotherton will receive a certificate as well as national recognition for his work at the PCA's National Youth Sports Awards & Benefit in April.

Nord Anglia Education and UNICEF equip students to make a positive difference on the world

The Village School and NAE's collaboration with UNICEF provides opportunities for our students to engage with and influence leaders at regional and global summits. One of these recent events was the NAE-UNICEF Global Goals Student Summit 2021. Village students Alex Ilacqua and Solemei Scamaroni served as our student ambassadors and were given the opportunity to connect virtually with other students around the world and discuss topics such as climate change, mental health, and education.

Adeline Mai, Village sophomore, and her dance company were recently named finalists in the 2021 Young American Grand Prix Finals. YAGP is the world’s largest ballet competition with over 12,000 auditions in more than 25 cities around the globe.

Time well spent: Village graduate develops two businesses to benefit younger classmates

Juan Pablo Nunez Rodriguez developed two businesses while at The Village School. His most recent business, Kidszonee, is an organization which matches high school students as instructors with young students in activities such as music, art, physical education, and cooking.
