A new school year is knocking! To help you and your family kick off another chapter of learning, we’re sharing a few tips for getting back into the school routine.
1. Spice up back-to-school shopping. The right tools and gear will help you and your child feel prepared, so pick up essential school supplies. But wait! Remember the fun stuff, too, like a sports-themed notebook or pencil case. Items that reflect your child’s interests can help them stay motivated all year long.
2. Make your morning routine easier. Ease the morning rush with a little prep. Small adjustments can make a big difference, like laying out clothes and packing lunch the night before.
3. Build a better backpack. Two words: toss and organize. At the end of the week, dive into your child’s backpack and remove whatever’s no longer needed. Then, help items find their home—books in larger pockets and pens and pencils in smaller ones. You’ll be all set for Monday.
4.Refresh your network. For a helping hand and shoulder to lean on, reach out to friends in your child’s school community. Refresh your friendships with a playdate or carpool.
5. Adjust, if necessary. Hey, things change! There’s something new to learn every day. So, stay open to transformation in your routine.
