LET’S TALK ABOUT LEARNING!

The British International School of Charlotte warmly invites you and your family to the 2024 Open House on Tuesday, August 20th at 3:00PM.

This event is for families considering the advantages of a premier private education in Charlotte, NC. Join us to learn about our international school, meet academic and administrative staff, and tour our facilities.

OPEN HOUSE EVENT SCHEDULE

  • 2:45-3:00PM — Arrival and Sign In
    Please join us in the front of the school by the circle drive. You can find BISC visitor parking throughout the front parking lot for your visit.

    Our friendly Admissions Team will greet you in the reception area and help you sign in for the event.
  • 3:00 - 3:30PM – Information Session
    Get to know what makes BISC special by meeting our staff members. We will provide an overview of our schools' core curriculum and specialized programs, but also discuss our value and mission for our students.
  • 3:30 - 4:30PM — School Tour
    Families will be split into groups according to the age ranges they are enquiring about:

    Early Years/Foundation Stage Tour: The BISC Early Years program focuses on fostering a sense of curiosity, building foundational skills, exploring the world around them, and preparing students for success as they journey into Primary School. Get to know the BISC Early Years School and meet members of the academic team who can answer questions about what a typical day looks like and the goals and progress students achieve.

    Primary School Tour: The BISC Primary School has fantastic programs from Pre-Nursery through Year 6 (i.e. US Grade 5). Get to know the BISC Primary School and meet members of the academic team who can answer questions you may have about everything from curriculum, to becoming their best self, and creating lifelong friendships.

    Secondary School Tour: The BISC Upper School provides a range of educational possibilities for children in middle school and high school. Join us to discover what academic credentials our students can earn, including the IGCSE certificate and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
  • 4:30-5:00PM – Q&A
    BISC will provide the opportunity for parents/guardians to ask any questions that may have not been covered on the tour.
