Our entire school community is proud to share our students at The British International School Bratislava achieved exceptional results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

For the 2020/21 academic school year,  The British International School Bratislava achieved a pass rate of 100 percent. The average score was 37.41, which is 4.4 points higher than the IB global average of 33.02 points, widening the gap between the school and other IB schools around the world. This result also showcases the difference that Nord Anglia Education schools bring to students’ academic results.

“Our results for May 2021 are absolutely fantastic and a testament to both the hard work and perseverance of our amazing teachers, fabulous students and supportive parents. These are the best results in the school's history with an average IB score of 37.41 and with 44% of our students achieving 40+ points and a 100% pass rate. This is wonderful!  These results mark them out as an exceptional year group who have persevered through the most difficult of circumstances. They are a year group that 'never gave up' and accepted all the challenges thrown at them.  Congratulations class of 2021 you make us all very proud and are set to have the brilliant futures you all rightly deserve.” Mrs Karen Eastwood, Principal of The British International School Bratislava said.

We are also delighted to announce that 18 students from our school achieved 40 points and above.  This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.

Of particular note are Ejun and Keke’s maximum 45 point scores, phenomenal performances. Also fantastic scores from Hyeokjun, Jiwoo and Martin who all have 44 points. 

All of us here at The British International School Bratislava would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors. These students have put in incredible hard work over the years and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future.
